Can you do me a favor? I've always wondered how much lift I have compared to a TG 3" lift.

Can you measure from the bottom of your frame to the bottom of the front spring pack?

Front of the axle, from the bottom leaf vertically to the bottom of the frame 10.5 inches.

Thanks! I've always wanted to know that. In comparison, my truck is at 7.5" good to know how tall it is compared to an off the shelf lift kit.

Cool, what front setup are you running? Do you have high steer?

I'm interested in case I ever decide to lower it a little.

I'm running high steer. Everything is close, but it clears.

The springs are 0" lift SOA springs for a YJ, designed and built by National Spring, then rebuilt by Deaver. Today they are an 11-leaf, 2.5" wide, 46" long pack. While I was originally worried about running a 46" spring, I realized they are very close in length to trail gear springs. Then the axle is placed 1.5" forward of center to help with firewall clearance.

The trick to these springs is that they are reverse eye- meaning the main leaf attached to the top of the spring eye rather than the bottom. This drops the truck ~1.5" without loosing arch on the leaf spring (keeping the spring from going to negative arch keeps it living a long and healthy life)
