I just thought I would share some pictures of my trac bar.
looks cool, thats different i've never seen the shackle hang up like that its usually hanging downward (below the bar)
what size heims?
The heim is 5/8". Decided to put the shackle above to get a little more clearance.
Who made your rear driveshaft?
You better weld a plate on the back side or it will open up your axle housing like a tuna can.
I got my driveshaft from Driveshafts unlimited in San Antonio.
Weld a plate on the back side? The back side of the axle or the back side of the uprights?
Have you driven it with this trac bar yet? Seems like you have alot of antisquat with the shackle on the upper side . Might bounce a bit.
Back side of the uprights, tiying it into the axle housing.....
I would go out a bit to the left and right of each upright, 1.5" or 2.0", and to just about the top of the uprights with an isosceles trapezoid shaped piece of .250".
Unfortunately I found that my pinon bearing is toast before I've had much of a chance to drive it. I've read on various posts about anit-squat and I've tried to glean as much information as I can but I still have a few questions. I've heard people refering to a "AS value" is this a calculated value and if so how is it calculated? Has anyone ever explained why the angle of the wrap bar affects AS?
