I have a 2010 FJCruiser. Codes C2181, C2182, C2183, C2184, C2185, C2191 and a flashing TPMS dash light. All this leads me to believe the TPMS ECU has failed, otherwise it's coincident that all 5 sensors failed at the same time. I've read a few things. One says press the TPMS reset button... can someone confirm but I do not believe the 2010 has one. If it's supposed to have one, help me find it because it's not obviously below the steering column like some of the parts diagrams show.
Anyone have a way to verify it's the TPMS ECU? My Launch scanner has capabilities for TPMS registration but it can't reach the ECU. To me that's good indication of the problem but I'd like to make sure before I throw money at it.
Speaking money... really over $600 for a simple TPMS ECU?
