A German couple who landed in Nova Scotia several months ago, you may have seen their post in the 70 section.
They had a transmission failure within a week of landing. Anyhow, have since driven across Canada, to Alaska and then
they saw the Yukon - Dempster Hwy, down the Stewart Cassiar to Vancouver Island. They landed last Tuesday, I met them
for breakfast before they headed up to Tofino for a few days to hike, surf and visit. Then on this Tuesday they came to my place for
after dinner visit and I let them camp out back. They are heading to Baja for December, ultimately heading to S America.
Steffi and Daniel. His brother David was with them, he is staying in Canada on a work visa.
Nice folks. The truck is a 2001 HZJ78, they are 3rd owners. 125000 km now. Camp Tec pop up and fully camperized.

Gravel road + washboard + speed = uh oh!
Successful fishing trip, interior bc 2 hours from a paved road. Only damage was scratches to the paint and a broken mirror. Winched it onto its wheels and drove it out.
