Toyota Hiace ADVICE NEEDED (1 Viewer)

My buddy is looking at this imported 1991 Toyota Hiace. He knows I have several Toyota’s and Toyota friends and asked me if I could get some opinions on the vehicle in general. Anybody that has ever driven one or worked on one.

I don't know much about the Hiace in particular, but some searches in the diesel tech section and the 70-series tech section should provide a lot of information about the 2L-TE engine. They can be a decent engine, but require a fair amount of bulletproofing. The Hiace may not have much space in the engine bay to work on or add stuff.
