I don’t think pumping will work. The brakes are hydro boost brakes. It will not become a dead pedal. I am using the Rvi brake that has a setting for that issue.

Gotcha. I was afraid of that. No flat spots. Will have to figure out what to do about the hydro boost.

Just got back from 3 week trip to WY/YNP. Looks like ~3150 miles on the GX behind the RV. No real issues other than I got the steering wheel locked up once. Had key just inserted, not clicked to 1st click.

Love how easy it is to hook/unhook. So much fiddling around with my wife’s flex when we tow that, never again.

The answer to the brake buddy thing was, “hybrid mode” and a slightly lower setting on the sensitivity setting for the brake buddy.

Yesterday I had a local mechanic friend disable the steering wheel lock on my '06 GX470. Went by this video's instructions:
That was plan A. But once he drilled and pinned the hole we couldn't remove the key. So went to plan B. Pulled the key module off and he used a dremel to grind off the pin. Put back together and works great.
Now when I tow behind my motorhome I won't have to leave the key in the ignition. Just hook up, put transfer case in neutral, and go.
