I would use that 110 unit and get Jrob to make you some ductwork. I won't be pretty but you will be frosty.

COLD>PRETTY

Leaning that way John. Thinking about building a slide out shelf in one of the sleeper storage boxes that would support the window unit. When I get set up just open the door and slide the AC out. Only problem is how to get to the controls once it is "deployed". Thinking about finding one with a remote. Think that would work?

I think I also have enough room on the front of the flatbed to carry my little dual sport scooter. Just gotta work up the nerve to ride it up the ramp. (I don't mend as quickly as I used to)

.

Yeah I don't blame ya there. if you can put both ramps side by side and clamp em together.. that would at least give you some more error room. ; )

either way ya better wear your Evel Knieval outfit. get Sherry to film it. ya might make some money off it ; p

LOVE the way the flat bed came out!

U have got to do the window unit deal! Got to have some redneck on that rig!

Well, not to mix my loyalties, I am a lifetime member of the White Trash after all;)

What kind of tranny is in that thing. I know, I know... I just hope she's hot!

Six speed (Spicer I think). Not too bad to drive but I need more seat time.

I think we all need one of those trucks! That is the perfect rig for what we do. Cheap too!

My Dad is getting itchy to sell his 2010 Duramax. 70 something thousand miles. Loaded. Nab. All that. Newish rubber.

Have not looked at the book but if anyone in the club is interested let me know.

Last year before they added those lame additive tanks.

Guys I have a question I'd like to run by you, get some honest feedback.

While out in Ouray I paid a lot of attention to everyone's camping setups. There were traditional campers there, full expedition camper/trailers, RTTs on trucks, and just plain old tents (like mine).

The range in $$ was large, from $150 (tent) to $2k (RTT) to $10-20k (campers and expedition campers).

Do you think there would be a market for a mass produced trailer that came in at the midpoint in the above pricing? Something extremely similar to the camper trailer that memcruiser had (still has?).

Thinking about starting at the $3k range with a Ruger trailer (www.rugertrailers.com), and adding as a package a replacement top with kitchen, water, and RTT (another $2-3k). Total of $5-6k. This idea came 100% from another MUD member I met up there, and personally I think he is onto something...he's been bouncing ideas off me the last couple days and a lot of what he is thinking makes sense. My thoughts are that the key is going to be to keep it in that $5k price range.

Just curious as to what kind of interest you guys think that might generate...I'm pretty sure I would buy one if that type package were available. But I know that 90% of the interest in this sort of thing would come from out west, not from around here.

There is a guy in AR that does trailers like that if I remember right. Overland trailer I think is the name. He's attended the crawl with several of those trailers that he displayed. Check his pricing. Not at the computer or I would.

There is a small market but they are out there in both price ranges. Mike should chime in on why he got rid of his. I think it sounds good but in the long run it sits more than you get to use it unless you are out west.
