Curious, so you gut the inside of most everything, blow out the back, make a spot to park the rig and then leave the sleeping platform above the tongue?

So I was thinking about this and ran across today. It was nice to see what I had in my head actually be done. If you made your own box instead of using the $700 kit, it would be reasonable.

I've been looking the last few months and haven't found one so just was thinking about how one could be built. Was thinking more of a small lifted teardrop style if built myself but doubt I will go that route.

I've seen that M105 and a few others at a good price but have ruled them out due to size and weight. If I go big I will do a M1101. The one in KY looks pretty good, just a bit far for me to get to right now.
