Jason covered the 53 mm question pretty well above, that shock was never on my radar as I’m not planning to add any extra weight in the rear.

My biggest decision was between the front shocks - 41 mm non adjustable vs 45 mm adjustable. Jason recommended the 41 mm front shocks for my setup since I’m not planning to add a bumper and winch, his experience is the 45 mm up front is a little firm and just not needed without extra weight. I believe @Orange Hat has the 45 mm adjustables up front with no extra weight though and is pleased, so I think it’s just personal preference.
Correct, I have the adjustables all the way around and the ride is fantastic (sliders and drawers only). I too had talked with Jason about my setup before ordering and I went with the flexibility of the 45 mm adjustables up front since I may be adding a hidden winch (which may lead to a bumper in time). But as it sits today, lighter than heavier, the Tough Dogs are best for my current needs and future “maybe’s”.

Measured the pass side only...
Thanks for sharing, love your 200! Ride height looks great, any chance you’ve taken hub to fender measurements recently so we can compare numbers?

Mearused the pass side. Rear 23 1/4" and front 22", completely unloaded.

Thanks, that’s helpful for comparison! Still a little surprised how high my front end is right now, feel like even with the 1” spacer I should have ended up closer to 23” - maybe it will settle closer to that number over the next few months.

I am still on OE UCAs so I wonder if that’s a factor. I may wind up changing those out anyway.

The title says slider install. Is that coming next?

They are still in the box in my garage, getting a 1/2” drill for Christmas to help with the install so should have them on later this week - I’ll post some pics when I’m done.

Started installing my Slee sliders this week, been working on them in roughly 2 hour chunks here and there trying to balance cruiser projects with family time and husband duties around the holidays. Passenger side is completely installed and driver's side is prepped for install (holes drilled, rivnuts installed, all necessary factory bolts removed), should have the project finished tomorrow.

So far I'm extremely impressed with the quality and esthetics of the sliders, they fit the lines of the vehicle well and provide a very functional step in addition to their protection. Install has gone pretty smoothly so far, just time consuming especially without an extra set of hands - going to recruit my dad for the driver's side mounting after doing the passenger side by myself. Even with the help of jack stands it's a fair amount of weight and some awkward positions to get everything lined up.

I read a lot of install threads on here as well as Slee's instructions ahead of time and picked up some pretty useful tips, so I don't have much to add. I'll echo what others have said, drilling into the frame is not fun - especially the holes in the bottom of the frame (just hard to find a comfortable position to drill). I drove onto solid cinder blocks to give myself more clearance underneath the frame and that helped. I ordered two 17/32" drill bits (not from Slee) and both had dulled after just drilling the passenger side holes (used a 1/2" drill and lubricant). I picked up a 1/2" drill bit yesterday for the driver's side holes since I could not find a 17/32" locally and used it enlarge the factory holes before using the 17/32" bit, that actually worked pretty well - I'd recommend that approach to others. Installing the rivnuts was simple using the tool from Slee. I didn't have a 3/8" allen wrench for the hex head bolt that goes into the lollipop nut, I ended up buying a hex socket set that included a 3/8" hex socket and that worked very well.

If I think of anything else helpful I'll add it after I finish the driver's side install. Here are some pictures of the sliders straight out of the box, A+ to Slee for the packaging job.

Here was the cinder block set up I mentioned when drilling holes into the bottom of the frame:

Kudos for installing yourself as I know they are ALOT of work but relatively easy to do...looks like it paid off as they look great!

Thanks man, definitely been a fun and rewarding project - did a lot of stuff like this on my 3rd gen and 80 series but this is my first big 200 project. Going to mount the driver’s side slider this morning, hoping for a smooth finish!

Very nice 200! Wow that is such a nice setup.Sliders look solid,It is very gratifying installing your self.I did a set of metaltech sliders on my old 93 80.Our 14 200 could use a set, wife just sideswiped a gas station pole and took out the passenger running board! Can’t say I like the gas on that side. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

I have set of sliders from my 200 taking up space. When ever you make it to OC they are yours.

Any issues pulling into a garage with a standard garage door with this lift installed?

View attachment 1865564 My 200 with recently installed Tough Dog lift. Loving it! Sliders next...

Looks great! I’d also like to know your hub to fender measurements so we can keep adding info to this thread. Finished my slider install yesterday, really enjoying them so far.

My 200 fits just fine, I did adjust my garage doors to go up a little farther when we bought our house a few years ago but there’s plenty of room even without the adjustments I made. Installing a tall aftermarket roof rack or RTT would be snug though, my 80 with 35’s and Yakima racks barely clears.

I mean OEM running boards .
Hey wow very cool but our 200 is going to the body shop this week. Thanks for the offer! I’ve been trying to get my wife to let me take them off but they have been helpful for my elderly Mom.
