JC Whitney is having a sale right now on these. Anyone in or close to central San Diego (SDSU area) want to go in on an order with me? I have to order two pair to get the free shipping. Should be roughly $65 per pair each person. I don't believe there is a limit.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been meaning to get a set of these. I have a good set of 6-ton jack stands but they do not have the height reach of these. With the shipping and taxes including it was $79 bucks to my door. I like my life and limbs so it's money well spent.

I may order two pair and give one as a gift. I can always order three pair if you're interested. I can pay for it and you can bring the cash when you pick it up.

I just placed the order. It will be a couple bucks more because they added tax. I'll let you know when they arrive.

Received one pair today. The other pair should be here on Thursday.These things are super beefy!
 
Yep got my set today too. How do the welds look on yours? One of mine it looks like s***.
 
I didn't notice anything unusual. I will look them over carefully though..Can you post a picture of the weld?
 
I will shoot some pictures when I get home tonight. One of them is fine the other looks like it was welded by a noob. The top option that holds the jack is also slightly crooked. It does not look bent just that the person who welded it up did not take the time to properly line it up. I doubt this will have any influence on its strength, a 12 ton jack is already over kill for what we need but it looks a little weird.
 
The welds on mine look fine, but one of them is missing the pin on the chain for the double lock. :mad: Guess I'll be calling JCW tomorrow, again...
