Toolbox items: What to include?

I carry a good majority of my hand tools in the truck at all times.
Plus alot of other misc. crap.
You never know.
 
tools are good. but there is a balance there somewhere... if you carry the whole damn shop in the truck, you end up breaking stuff because your overloaded, and you get lousy fuel mileage, and you run the risk of someone stealing it

around town- I don't carry much anymore. Mostly the stock kit and an extra set of 1/2" sockets in common sizes, as well as 2 extra screwdrivers and a hub socket.

Believe me my hand tool set is not very large.
It all fits into a nice craftsman canvas bag and it weighs like 50 lbs.
It is by no means over weight.
Just all the good basics and a little more.
That 50 lbs is not going to kill my MPG's our be the root cause of breakage.
If I get breakage it is because I was doing something I should not have been doing.:hillbilly:
