toggle switches?

sup y'all,

bout to rewire the dash/fusebox in my 72.

i know that i need to fix one or two switches (the headlight one is bad) and was tossin around the idea of toggle switches.

any opinions? i like the stock ones but who knows...

Dude, find you a knowledgeable guy at NAPA or "other" store. I went in for switches one day and he showed me all kinds of cool s***. Panels, push pulls, toggles, light-ups, dimmers.....

It's all about finding the right man for the job. This guy knew his switches like I know my bitches.

Dude...don't give up on the stock switches so soon. Most, like the light switch, are
serviceable. I just recently had to take mine apart and service it. Works great now.
As for switches, I love the red lock out jobs for serious stuff like air compressor, ARB
lockers and driving lights. No way are you going to accidentally turn those
things on with the lock out switches. Two moves to engage...lift cover then flip switch.
One to close. Flip switch down.
For my backup flood light I did install a lighted rocker switch so I can "override"
the tranny switch. Handy when camping or when that truck with the bright lights is
behind you and won't dim 'em. Hehe...a little flood light flash gets their attention.

I really like the ARB style marine lighted rockers. Tons of different light and switch combos. The only problem is that they are a beeeeeatch to make the holes for. The small sealed black toggles are nice too. Check out waytekwire.com.
