Fellas,

Is it possible to stick the ladder in the rear of the 80s w/o the spoiler getting in the way? I've got a generic ladder with the rubber coated hooks at the end but not comfortable with how it'd go at the rear location. I feel much safer by hooking the ladder on the gutter for side entry/exit. It can slide slide along the gutter but I can manage that. May I see some examples please?

Thanks.

I've never liked the way the Autohome ladder was designed to hook over the lip of the lower half of the tent shell. I use the FrontRunner spare tire step that straps around the rear tire carrier with a ratchet strap. Haven't used the ladder since. Added bonus is a little more room for bedding.

My ladder doesn't reach the RTT bottom lip unfortunately. So. It's hanging on the train gutter for now. The extension cost around $50 from what I see.

I got rid of the included ladder.... take a look at this article and you can see what I'm doing now. I've got one of the Xtend ladders. It's not hooked on anything but rest against the tent edge. I have a locking bungie to make sure it doesn't fall in the middle of the night :)

I put it in storage a long time ago.
I have a built in ladder on one of my swing outs... And also have an extend ladder..but that does not get used much either..
