Anybody else spot the odd things on this truck..front grill headlights off a older cruiser, diesel roof rack ? If it was original paint no rust then its well worth the cash.Zoomed in on the picture, front marker lights some type of off the shelf crap, rear wheel well arch looks fatter in the center, usually bondo..

Is it a 2.5 in those? Or a 2.8? Same as in Delicas? Is the later 2.8 the good engine (4m40)? Just curious.

I'd prefer my Prado any day due to the solid front axle and Toyota quality (aside from the 2lte issue of course).

2.5 engine..

For sure I agree, if Toyota did not s*** the bed on that engine, I like that wagon for it size and capabilities.

Pretty sure I can see a couple spots where more s*** could've been bolted on.

You'd think an 80 owner would be more thorough.




And wtf does respectfully driven on logging roads mean anyways???

Flogged the grandmother out of it but didn't pass on corners or flip birds?

Haha! I was thinking the same when I saw that one. And why someone would spend so much rebuilding a 3FE when for the same they could have sourced and installed a 1HDT....?

Boys..... I think thats a shackle reversal. But none the less, by all means, keep diggin.

It has a m22 tranny.....great for drag racing but not for 4x4n. My 73 fj40 originally came with one. Best upgrade ever was swapping it out with a sm465
