thanks for pointing them out. i actually saw them a couple of days ago and picked them up this morning. i think i paid a bit much ($500) but they did come with new center caps plus all OE lugnuts. i was also getting tires of looking around.
they guy showed me the bill for the blasting and coating.funny part is that i was just about to go and order a set of new rockcarlwer rims with tires and then saw the add so the plans changed for the tenth time. LOL

No I'm sure you got a wicked deal. My dad got a set of 4 out of the states (non LX edition) years ago and it cost him 800 with shipping and duties, your lucky to find them Locally.
Thanks Greg, I was not aware that uship had a Canadian side. I have talked to the seller and he thinks he has a buyer lined up so I may not get it but we shall see.

this one looks a little weird, left hand drive, high roof, FJ fenders, diesel, and it isn't Jan's so unless another one got a custom high roof put on it might be a weird conversion or mix.

Those rims are JDM. Had them on my 91 when it arrived. My money is on it being a conversion. Price is very low if it is truly as good as it looks. But pics of a wet vehicle always raise my suspicion level. I am sure he'll get some US interest if he were to post it on MUD.
The add says "Specialty did the turbo".
If Andy of Specialty did the job it's easy to ask him.
Andy has a really good reputation with turbos. He has been around for since 75 and has worked on many of my friends race cars.
