TJM bumper for LX470's

I thought I would share this. We have recently installed a TJM T17 Bumper channel on a LX470. Might be an option for some. Fit 1998 to 2002 LX470 and also 100 Series Land Cruisers.

Fits 98 to 2002 LX470? Is the front different on the 2004? is that why it doesn't fit 2003 to 2007?

Yes, `03+ front clip is different.

What kind/size tires are on that rig? It looks great! Is it lifted or is it just because the running boards are removed?

The tire is definetely a BF Goodrich All Terrain KO. I am guessing but it looks like a 315/75/16, which is about what most people would call a 35" in old sizing.

315/75/16 and the AHC system was removed and OME lift installed.

You may have covered this before, but how hard is it to yank the AHC from a LX? What does it end up costing assuming you go with a small OME lift 1-2"? I like the LX's but have crossed them off my list because of the high repair cost of the AHC system.

AHC, is the best reason to get a LX. If you maintain the system no reason it should be a problem.

Sorry, the truck is no longer here. Taking out the AHC is about an hours job. Either crimp the lines off or you can plug them off.

I'm assuming that is a pre-2000 LX?? Just wondering if anyone has removed the AHC on a 2000+ yet?

bumper looks good too! I'll be in the market for a new bumper soon!!

Looks great. Just like the T-15 without the upper tubes.

Does it come in AL too?

I doubt the T3 will ever be available for the LX470, however we do want to testfit one and see. As for the T17 in aluminum, not sure they make that.

by different clips, does it mean that this bumper can't be made to fit the later MY's?

does anyone else make a simple small bumper like this for the later MY's if this cannot be made to fit?
