My stock antenna has been bent and kinked more times than it can handle. Came broken from the PO, and I've hit it several times myself.

Thanks.

Um, maybe use the "down button" before you dash through the trees?

A replacemwnt mast is not very expensive and you do not have to dig all the wiring out to replace everything.

Better watch where you put that thing.

:D

Any excuse to tug on it. :D

I just ordered one for a student from Carquest. $14.63 list. Part # CPS 81010.

This one is a round mast with a black mounting ball, unlike mine which is a square mast and a chrome ball. This one is better.

I broke my factory antenna on the trail and finally got annoyed with it when I was sitting at an airport waiting on my best man that was delayed 6 hours. It was a two hour drive to the airport and another 5 hours to the wedding. So I could not go home to pass the time and decided to drive to a local AutoZone and get a new stubby antenna. were I proceeded to change it in a Mexican Restaurant parking lot waiting for my best man. So that is how I replaced my factory antenna with a stubby that has worked great ever since.
