Would the PS pump be for sale by itself? If
so how much?

Jim

Well, the pump/alternator stayed with the PO who is doing a 4bt conversion. I couldn't talk him out of the 4bt, he tried to sell me a bread truck for 4500 with a 12Ok 4bt in it though.

Yes, if i don't sell it or if the next owner doesn't want any brackets I might be able to hook you up. Which ones did you need?

Just off of the 2f I need the alternator bracket, off of the tranny I need the bracket that holds the slave cylinder...thanks for the help...

I will keep ya posted. No slave bracket I will look around tho'.

Cool, I am willing to trade my yourk air compressor set up for the stock alternator bracket..

me gets: stock 2f Alt bracket and possible slave bracket..

you gets: air compressor, 1 bracket to run it, 1 bracket to relocate the Alt, and the belt to run all of it...

Just a thought....

OK, will keep it in mind.

Guys, couple of clarifications.
First, there is no slave bracket on 85-later Cruisers. Bellhousing and clutch slave were re-engineered so slave bolts directly to BH. The slave bracket is only found bolted on 81-84 BH.

Second, all 81-87 2F heads are interchangeable. There are no brackets added or missing. The alternator bracket is the only thing bolted to the head, and those holes are on all heads from late 1960's-newer. PS bracket holes are added to engine blocks starting late 1978-newer.

HTH!

Thanks for the info...I am bolting a 3f bellhousing to my 3fe to use an manual tranny. I looked under my 84 and saw that it had a bracket it, so I just figured that I would need one for my other rig...cool that a dont.

As for the alt bracket, I needed it because I have dealer installed york AC that I dont want anymore and I just want it back to stock..

Oh, geez, like I am supposed to keep track of all this..

Ok, so was it the PS pump bracket holes that aren't on the earlier 2f's?
