Tire worn/chunking on side of lugs? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone seen this before and know the cause or am I looking at a dodgy tire? This is a daily driver, gets aired down and driven on the beach almost every weekend otherwise sits at road pressures. Only 1 tire has done this.

It literally takes one off traction rotation to do that to a tire. Its a non issue.

Thanks guys, I’ve had multiple sets of mud terrains and this is the first I’ve seen of it. I took it in to my tire shop and the guy said it’s a compound issue and ordered a replacement under warranty, I wasn’t going to argue with him.
