I.went onto their site and that looks like a great way to go. 16x7" in any backspacing for 99$. I wish they came in chrome but they don't look bad as is. Please share pics when you can.
I know this is super old, but what wheels are those? Do you have a PN or source for them? @salvage60
Try Kenda Klever MT they have a great look. About $156 each with FF on Ebay. I have them on my Landrover and plan to put them on my FJ-40.Me too!
But gosh they are hard to find.
why is the 255 popular? how are they different than 285 tire?Anything between 245/75 and 285/75 goes well on a 8x16 wheel. 255/85x16 is a verry popular tyre over here to, a shame a lot of tyremakers only have mud terrains in that size.
You cant get toyo M55s in europe and i find the mudterrains to harsh for hyway and gravvelroads.
In general, they're a tad over 1" narrower (30mm to be exact) and slightly taller. The narrower width offers less rolling resistance and the taller height, longer contact patch when aired down. The narrower width can make your steering lighter as well.why is the 255 popular? how are they different than 285 tire?
