Tire pressure ? for an 06 LX

i realize that the pressure is way too high. the dealership filled them to 40 down in mission viejo and then had a driver bring it up. i took it up to PV earlier in the week (20 miles or so max), but haven't put any miles on it since i saw they were at 40psi. it's been sitting in the garage for 24hours, so i'm going to go air them down as i know they'll be cold. surprising that they didn't have the tire pressure correct when it left the lexus store. disappointing.

i'll go air them down and give it another go.

Unfortunately JP it sounds like you took your rig to Lexus Mission Viejo. The service dept. there is absolutely terrible.

We bought our LX at that dealership because we got such a smokin' good deal last year but I don't even service Ol' Bessie there (our now 10-year old LS400). Steer clear of Lexus Misson Viejo.

where do u go? didn't mind those folks. what were your issues with the service dept?

When I take my LX to my local dealership, it comes back with 31lbs in front and back.

Oh.. and Mission Viejo also drained my battery the one time I took my vehicle there. They gave it to me running. Luckily I shut it off for a second, after which it was dead as a doorknob. They must have drained it, realized it, jumped it, and then gave it back to me. I made them swap me out for a new battery.
