Cut my SXs this weekend. I wanted more flex from the tread area at 6 or so psi, and better traction...

notice much difference?

I'd like to do the same to my SX's where'd ya' get the siping iron at??? How much??

That's the same groover I have. Done about 20 tires or so by now I think (more if you count reversing the blades to sipe the tread). Still going strong.

I have the same groover also... I have been happy with it too and it makes the rounds with the rest of the guys i wheel with... probably has grooved 3 or 4 sets of tires now...

It sure made a difference when i cut my old bias Buckshots...

Austin, take that groover and turn the blade around so that the flat part of the blades stick down. It works great as a siper.

Exactly

This was how my SX's used to look too. I need to do this with the current IROKS, but I'm groover-less... may hit'em with the angle grinder for fun (it works)

Put a bygawd aetna cut on them fawkers

BIBLE!

Hi All:

Is it really worth the trouble to grove old, worn mud tires, attempting to get more life from them?

Thanks!

Alan
