Got an 82 Pickup and I want to toss some rubber on it to replace the crap that's currently there.
It's stock ride height far as I know. Can I toss some 33x12.50 tires on it?
Will I need to change the rims?

I'd like to run 37x12.50s once I do the suspension over, should I widen the axles or use spacers or what?

FYI, the rear has a flat bed.

Without a lift, 33/12.50s will rub. You can go 32/10.50 or 11.50

Dunno about that size of tires though. too big for me

As KliersLC said, without a suspension lift, 33s will rub. A 3-4" lift will allow you to run up to 35s, providing you move the front axle forward at least 1" and do minor trimming on the lower front edge of the front fenders.

37s will likely require additional trimming of the front fenders. Since you have a flatbed, you should be ok in the rear. If you run a 2" - 2.5" backspaced wheel, you likely will not need wider axles. Another option would be to us a rear axle from an IFS truck and run spacers on the front.

just buy the 37" tires now.
that way you have a better excuse for your wife as to why your yoter needs a bigger lift. :grinpimp:

I'm not married :D.........................yet. Plus she's got a Jeep and wheels it so :D.

So where can I find some wheels with 2" back spacing....I've been looking and found nothing yet.

Contact US Wheel. They don't do retail sales, but they will give you the part #. You'll need to tell them all the particulars (bolt pattern, width and backspacing). You can also have 'em drill the hole in the valve stem in the flat section of the wheel (keeps it away from rock and sticks) Then call Summit and give them the part# and have them order it for you. They'll come unpainted, so you'll need some spray paint in your favorite shade  .
