Hey guys, ill be upgrading to 35's soon, and the combo I'm gonna run is the scs f5's and the Yokohama geolandar x/at's. Should I get a pair of winter beater rims or should I just use the SCS f5's year-round?

I used to live in illinois and the road salt was really hard on wheels. But if you live in a state that doesn’t salt the roads I wouldn’t worry.

You're asking if you should just get winter wheels (and not tires?) I.e. mount the same tires on a different set of wheels twice a year? My answer to that would be hell naw... hefty price to pay just to preserve the look of an aftermarket wheel. Cheaper to just re-paint your wheels every few years.

If you're asking if you should get a separate set of winter wheels/tires, then that's rarely a bad idea as long as you can afford it.
