Then you might be able to fit either of those tires. The official diameter of a 265/70/17 is 31.5 inches but different tire brands/models will vary from the measurement. My Pirellis measure 32 inches and won't fit (or won't fit without deflating, smashing the tire into place, and contacting the sway bar). But I know plenty of people on here have fit those sizes with the OEM hitch. There are a few threads on here about this topic.
Yeah, I'll check those out today. I'll prob just stay with the stock rims and put the rubber on them.

Alright! Gotta make some decisions here. I would like only to buy one set of wheels. I'm interested in the Method wheels with the bead grip. Any other suggestions? Eventually, I will go up to a 33"-35" tire, but not now. I've been on the threads, thought I had it, got sidetracked, went down rabbit holes of other subjects, and now I'm back here. If I go with a 17x8.5 wheel, what offset should I get to accommodate my current and future tires? For now, I'm looking at 265/70/17 in all the common all-terrain tires (KO2, Falken, Open Country, Cooper). Or should I get a different size? It looks like I will need a -10 offset from the info I've gathered. Any recommendations? I'll be running stock suspension and can take care of any minor rubbing for the time being. I'll try and make the spare tire fit in the factory location, but it's not a deal breaker. Thanks!

These are what I went with and I fit any almost any size tire. I started out with a 275/85R17 BFG M/T's and currently run 315/70R17 BFG A/T's. That would be about largest you'd be able to fit, so I'm sure you should have no issues with anything smaller.

Those look good! I was looking at the Icon Rebound Pros, but I'm trying to be under 30 lbs on the wheels. Either way, being about 30 lbs isn't bad, and opens up my options quite a bit. Thanks for sharing! Your rig looks great!

It definitely has the original filter. I’m going to call Lexus tomorrow and see if I can get the work done. The filter looked to be in good condition, so I can wait on an appointment with the dealership. Thanks!
As a new ‘14 GX owner I read this with great interest and inspected mine. I didn’t see any filter material under their cap. It’s a one owner car that was well maintained. Do some have no filter? Weird.

I’m not sure about all GXs, but mine had the JLG campaign performed and the filter was still in there, so I took it out and put the Uni filter on it. Not sure if it was supposed to be replaced with anything else, but I would definitely look further into it.
