When I do all my timing belt installations, I just put the harmonic ballancer on by hand "if its a tight fit" and of course, hand turn the crank to make sure everything is aligned up and no interference with the valves. Then I start the engine to make sure it starts and runs. After that, I put the rest of the timing belt and accessories back together.
