Timing belt 3.0L

Engine is on the stand. Heads are off and ready to go back on. Has anyone had experience reassembly of the long block (timing belt).

I expected more from Toyota guys... The service manual has come in handy. I was just looking for a little advice from some one who has done it themselves. Thanks for all of yor help. Fine forum ya got here.

Yep done it before just like many others here. As stated the FSM will walk you through the process in detail - the post up anything that is fuzzy.

Use a Toyota belt, the 3.0 is non interference, and use an FSM are about the best I can tell ya...


I don't know what you're looking for from us... The last one I did was years ago, and I don't do one everyday...

I would rather read about that engine in an FSM anyway...
