I have a front axle and have been thinking about a few options. Tell me if I'm a dumbass. First I was going to use the 63" rear chevy springs and then use rear ome springs up front. Will the ome springs be an advantage or disadvantage? I have heard good things about using rears up front but have heard nothing as of aftermarket rear springs up front. I was going to go with marlins hanger kit and their steering. What do ya'll think? My goal is to fit 35s with 0 rubbing.

I cannot comment on the front springs much, but have seen a few with 47" springs up front, not stock but they flex better than any stock length front spring. A friend had 5-6" of lift with 47" custom made springs. 35's couldn't rub if they wanted to.

For the rear chevy springs, I got a solid 5" of lift out of mine. I could see 35's rubbing because they almost do with my 33's. I ended up mounting my front hanger 11.5" forward and the rear shackle hanger 4.75" back. This gave not near a steep angle as others use, it's closer to a stock angle but I gained more lift.

Ok, youre a dumbass! Were I you I'd call Marlin and ask him. He offers full straight axle conversions, and he's a very nice guy who will talk you butt off.

I called marlin yesterday but I just got one of the tech guys. He didn't know how the ome springs would do up front. I was hoping that someone here had done some type of aftermarket spring up front. I would love to do the full front conversion, but I don't have $1100 to drop on something that my wife doesn't think is a need...

FWIW, I have Explorer Pro comp's 4" rear and about 3.5" front. They ride rough, but I could fit 35's easily. The 33's don't get anywhere close to rubbing. Hope that helps.
