Hello there ..

I'm about to pull the trigger on this tool .. I've been working on my personal convincing process about how it's to have it even If you only replace one or 2 u joints in your Cruiser in your hole life ..

It is good to have or there is another good option to this tool ..

For about the same money I bought a cheap hydraulic press. It is not as simple as the Tiger tool but it can do more/other tasks also.
The press does take up some floor space tho.

I use this tool from Harbor Freight for U-joints. Ball Joint Service Kit for 2WD and 4WD Vehicles
Half the price and works very well. OTC sells one also if you don't like HFT. Amazon.com: OTC 7249 Ball Joint, U-Joint and Brake Anchor Pin Service Kit: Automotive Clamp this tool in a vise and go to town on drive shaft u-joints...

IMHO the tool you listed is an expensive one trick pony. It only removes u-joints. The tool I listed removes/installs u-joints plus it does ball joints on trucks (I've used it on 2wd Ford f-series pick-ups for front ball joints). I work on more than Land Cruisers so a tool that does more than one thing for half the price is a no-brainer... The tool you list is a nice tool but not $180 nice in my book.
