Doin my research on rack systems and found this thread.

I have the MOAB basket and a bag that fits with it inside, but have no mounts or load bars. I really want to get the Gramiviti gutter mounts but don't know what kind of load bar would fit on there. Two questions:

1) Do I need to make my own load bars or does someone know a set that will fit the Gramiviti mounts?

2) I have the factory rails on there now and those thin rails that are flush to the roof. I plan on taking off the larger raisl but was unsure of the flush ones. If I keep them on there, will I be okay with the 45 degree Gramiviti mounts?

Hate to revive an old thread, but we have a 91 HDJ81 Land Cruiser (JDM import, right hand drive) that we're having issues with attaching some Thule rain gutter mounts to the rain gutters over the front doors and rear doors (the rear is much worse than the front, but both sets of doors are affected). The bottom clamp on the Thule rain gutter mount interferes with the opening/closing of both the front and rear doors! We can technically open/close the front doors, but it rubs against the weatherstripping, while the rear doors you cannot close with the Thule rain gutter mounts installed!

It's very much the same situation as @broper10 has in this thread: Gutter mounts getting in the way of doors - help! except that we are using Thule rain gutter mounts instead. We do not have any sort of rubber strip on our rain gutter like @broper10 had, so we're stuck. I've seen others that have the Thule rain gutter mounts on the rain gutters over their front and rear doors...so what's the difference? What am I missing here?

Any suggestions?
