I have reserved spots at Red Ridge. I am keeping track of this thread and will give them a head count as the event gets closer. If anyone is planning on camping please respond to this thread and I will talley the numbers.

Thanks in advance,

Rob Matzell

I'm planning to camp at Red Ridge.

I will be up with my wife Cindy (she's a fair weather wheeler) to wheel Saturday only, and I'll take 30 raffle tickets. Also trying to get a couple other GCLC members to attend.

Regarding the lighted pavilion at Red Ridge, there's a bunch of 'hard-core' bingo playing regulars at the campground who will riot if the raffle cuts into their Saturday Night game which usually starts at 8 pm. Might be worth while to give the folks at Red ridge call about this band of hoodlums, then post something to the list about a start time for the raffle. Angry bands of bingo deprived geriatrics aren't a pretty site!

Wheelin' with the Rebels..............

I'll be there Saturday with my 55. Could use $10 worth of tickets and will be looking to buy an XL T-shirt. Thanks for organizing this wheeling event!!!!!

It will just be me and my LX450. I would like to stay at the RedRidge campground, also. Probably Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I'll take 20 raffle tix.

Does anyone have a spare wheel for a 40 / 55 (like in the pic) that they would be willing to sell? I could pick it up at the event.

Also, what do folks usually do w/ the stock running boards. I can't afford the sliders, yet. Is it better to leave the running boards on or take them off and hope for the best?

Thanks,
Chuck

Does anyone who is going to this event have any spare axles that i take of your hands? Im having a hell of a time finding some spares and i really dont want to have to bum off of someone/ drive home broke.

Any idea what time the festivities will commence on friday?

I would like to see everyone meet at the park from 8-8:30 for the BBRC sign up. This will allow us to give the list to the park before we pay . After that people can go inside and pay and receive there discount to the park. The Trails do not open until 9 am on Friday and at 8 am on Sat. This means we will need to meet those who did not sign up on Friday to meet around 7-7:30 Sat morning.

I will be there in my black 85 4runner to get people to sign up. You can not miss the truck it has a big WARN sticker on the hood.

17 days to go!!

See you there,
Rob

I have spare axles, fornt and rear for FJ60, FJ40/45, and mini truck/4Runner. Let me know what ya need I'll be there Saturday. Gary S

I'm still a maybe. I'd be arriving Saturday morning in the 40 and camping that night. I should know definitely by tomorrow.

Will I need to make campsite reservations?

If you're camping at Red Ridge, just show up there at the office to register and mention you're with the cruiser group. Unless you want to wheel with all your camping gear banging around, you'd best register that day (u need to check their website for opening times) or show up Friday nite and set up camp.

Can't speak for Paragon camping info.

Thanks, Dan.

Another question: will some there be guys running blue trails?

We should have people running all the trail levels. We will make sure there are enough people riding to make the groups work if I have to lead a easy group one day I will.

Rob

If there is someone coming up on Friday morning, and needs a place to store some camping gear, I have a roll back tonneau cover that locks on my truck.

I'm coming up on Thrusday night with Rob and we'll be the first ones there at Paragon to get everyone set up. Look for the converse black and white 4-runners being towed by either a green or pewter (tan) GMC crew cab diesel. (Rob may have had the 4Runner first, but I owned the Duramax first.;p )

See everyone up there.....

Felix, if I can get my act together, I'll be there running blues. Blacks seem to tear the $$%^$%% outa my undercarraige.

Dan,

I still haven't sold the CJ. I took it to the VA4WDA annual run last weekend but I think rather than waxing it, I should have covered it in mud to increase its value. Those Jeep guys are weird. Glad I saw the light...

Anyway, I'm planning on bringing it up to Paragon with FOR SALE signs plastered all over it. Maybe somebody up there would want it.

If we need to get a mild group together one day, I can wheel it with them.

I'm interested in wheeling on Saturday, I would come up on Fri. night and camp out under the stars with my 5 years old son then head out with you guys on Sat.. I'm with GCLC and have been to CMCC the past few years but have yet to wheel in the Fall at Paragon. Me and my 85 4Runner, and my son are looking foward to the Fall Crawl. See you guys there.

I noticed that Paragon does not have this event listed on their calendar.....that's nothing to worry about right?
