Glad to see that you made it back home safe. Had a great time. 1/2" of mud caked on the outside of the 4Runner and I don't know if the powerwasher will get it off tonight. Ho hum.

Can't wait to get back up to Paragon to finish the rest of Undertaker. It will have to wait until March I guess.

What do you guys want to do to share photos. I can burn mine into a CD, but if someone had a laptop with a CD burner, we could all bring our memory sticks to the next meeting and burn them all on one CD for everyone....

Thanks for hosting a great event. I've posted a few pics in the trail Rides section.

If anyone has any pictures of all the smoke pouring from the Iron Pigs clutch, I want to see those too. ;p

Hey guys, We are planning on doing a write up for Toyota Trails and 4WD Toyota Owners magazine. I would like to make sure we do not post up all the really good pics untill we know wich ones we are submitting to the mags. They will not print pics that have been all over the web.
Thanks for your support and understanding in this matter.

I hope everyone had a great time even in the cold!! This will be bigger and better next year.

Hi guys! Thanks for inviting us (the Canadians) over for the raffle, we obviously had a great time! Thanks for the beer, that was a great little brew you were handing out.
Thanks for all the loot too, my 60 bucks Canadian went a long ways. ;) As for the Powertank, we had no problems coming across the boarder with it, no receipt needed, no duty paid. Thanks again for that, it's gonna come in quite handy in the Runner, I can throw my air compressor away now.
Adrian's trip (the carnage award winner) didn't end there, it took him 10 hours and 6 trailer tires to get home yesterday. We don't know what the story is yet, he's probably still sleeping.
Thanks again! It was great meeting all of you guys. I have my pictures up in my gallery from our trip, no Cruizer content though (although Cruizer Steve's rig may end up in there eventually once everyone gets their pics to us).

Hey rob, i got a couple pics of our group friday while we were eating lunch, is there an email address we can send stuff to so you can peruse for your magazine submissions?

I didn't get back until late Monday evening. Wheeled Sunday as well! Excellent event!!!!

Carnage list on my FJ40: Coolant leak at a radiator hose connection, Starter came loose (Idon't know how), and I am thinking a passenger side knuckle/trunion bearing, I am not sure, but there is alot og goop spilling out from the felt. Axel seal is FUBAR for sure.

James' FJ Cruiser carnage: Scratches and a plastic cap from the rear bumper. Under engine skidplate looks like aluminum foil too.

All in all not too bad. Looking forward to going again.

THANKS BBRC!

Dont forget about the bent lower control arm on my FJ Cruiser!!!!!! I beat the heck out of that thing!!!!

I had a grat time and thanks to all and look forward to wheeling with everyone again some time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can send unpublished pics from the event to me at timandcasey@verizon.net
Most of the pics I have are from the hardcore trail group and would love to include pics from the other groups in our submissions.

Thanks to everyone who came and made the event a huge success. We will start planning next years soon. If anyone has feedback on how to improve, send me or another BBRC member an email or PM.

Thanks,

Tim Minner

weekend

Guys- thanbks for hosting the event this past weekend at Paragon. It's always a pleasure to wheel with a great bunch of guys. How's bout some wheeling in late November??????? Gary S

What a great weekend. It was very well organized. I knew I was in "trouble" when I saw this on the first day. I explained it to my friends that I was a Chihuahua in a pack of bull mastifs. You guys were patient while I banged and scraped my way through. Thanks!

This puts it in proper perspective. Of course, I am the one on the right. This is the second day, and you can see some of the damage. The worst was on the right side where I smashed the bottom of the fender, exhaust system, and the rocker. D'oh! I got the exhaust system fixed today for $35 and the body work will be fixed enough to get the passenger door open and flares back on for $75. Not bad, I thought. Yes, Sliders are next on the list! Despite all of that, it was great fun, and I am looking forward to another trip after some more $$$$ spent on the rig.
Cheers,
Chuck

Its good to hear you got that stuff fixed for cheap, i was wondering how much change that would set you back. CDan is sending me my new intake this week so i should be back on the road soon. I need to find a source for steel so i can start cutting up my rig.....

-Matt

Blue77FJ40, the way I disabled the daytime running lights is set the E-Brake 1 click just enough to turn the brake light on then start the vehicle. It simulates being parked!!!!

Steel?....did someone say steel? Sounds like a challenge to me....

I challenge you to tell me where you buy your steel in the richmond area. I need some 2x4 and 2x2 square tubing.
