Thinking of parting out my FJ60, I'm wondering if there is anyone out there looking for parts.
It's an 85 FJ60 with around 182000 miles, it runs decent and everything works on it.

It has a 2.5 safari lift on it that was installed just over a year ago, tires and rims at the same time, the bigger mirrors, tinted windows, lots of engine work, rust in certain areas. The tires are 32X10.5X15rims, good tread 1500 miles.

Let me know if anyone is interesed is any parts.

I also have a spare set of rims with tires and [a spare tire and rim(original)].

I'd love to have a rear licene plate chrome bezel in good shape.
 
Doc,

I just bought some add-a-leafs from a guy up in WI who had an almost new chrome rear bezel. I checked it out when I went up north to pick up the leafs. I think his eBay user name is ugly88 or something similar. He was going to put it up on eBay as he no longer has his 62.
If I can find his contact info I'll PM you with it.

Dammit Doc.... :flipoff2: You and that license plate bezel!

I have trouble believing that Doc is going to decide he doesn't want the license plate light, so short of that, here's what I'd be interested in....

Rear bumper end caps, depending on where you are and the condition, possibly the lower tailgate. Don't happen to have a pair of sliders on that rig too do ya ;p ?

WHY?...........It's getting to the point where restoration would be costly and I figure parting it out would help people out better that just selling it whole.

It runs fine but needs some work, not sure what it needs, most days it runs good, in fact lately it hasn't been a problem at all, it's runnning really good. It probably just needs the carb adjusted, i rebuilt it and it works good but an adjustment might do the trick. It doesn't ildethe smae all the time and it will stall when you stop at intersections sometimes if you don't give it a couple revs as you are slowing to a stop.
 
Muddy- which part of Iowa? I'm in Ft. Dodge. Recently a bunch of Des Moines folk have signed up here... many of which are parting out cruisers too!

Any pics of the donor rig?

How about that rear chrome licence plate bezel? good condition or rusted out?
 
what color is the interior? what shape is the dash cap in? I need the face plate unit that seperates the ac controls from the catch-all. how are the front seats? I know someone has posted that they might want the alt and starter, if that falls through let me know, also the carb, you make mention that it needs tuned, how much for it?

BTW what about accesseries ex: roof rack, aftermarket bumbers, rock sliders, etc..... steel rock crawler rims.
