Could be possible, however I think they manufactured Koito headlamps through the 70's. Could likely be a period-correct replacement. I have one, but not a set.
Still cool none-the-less. My guess is that it's likely original, but also likely a period-correct replacement. (Could have replaced it in the mid to late 70's.

I just went out and looked at the ones on the 66 LV and except for not having bullet holes in them they look orginal. Chances are they could be

I would say it's original. That looks like the original logo. During the 70s it was different. My 1989 FJ62 has Koito head lights so they lasted as long as the sealed beams. I only have one of these early style and would like to at least find a match for it if any one is looking to sell or trade.

that's what I'm thinking, at least for the coolness factor!
and this is on the '65 I picked up a few weeks ago, wow 44 years old! and still works
I would also say original.
