Did I luck out on White being Right!

When I first bought my 80, I entertained the idea of removing the fender flares and re-painting it flat matte khaki, military style, to cover up dust and marks.

That lasted one summer. Now, I love my white paint. Just having a vehicle that doesn't threaten to fry your skin off when you brush by it on a hot day is reason enough. Still gonna remove those fender flares, though.

In intense heat and sunlight, white is definitely right.

I love the lines of an 80 with no flares and full paint. That is a thing of beauty. Makes me wan't to strip the lining and repaint even more.
