Yup! Northwest facing spots were the place to be. My kids made the best of it. We’ll be on the water tomorrow for sure.
2007 Land Cruiser, stock (with Continental 275/60R 18's) ... on Loope Canyon Road (returning from Barney Riley Creek to CA-89 just South of Markleeville CA). Great outing with local 4WD club Esprit de Four but probably should upgraded before tackling the trail at the end of the road which lead to creek (dropped hard on the underside about 2-3 times each way)

Definitely days are now shorter and I just can’t wait to get the Morimotos mini H18.0 installed. Here is the gas guzzler trying not get abducted by aliens at the Extraterrestrial Hiway, NV yesterday.
My cousin, who is in the marines, spent the Holliday weekend with us. Spent Saturday in our local mountains teaching him how to drive the land cruiser.

My parents live in Orem, this will be on our list of things to see next time we are there!
