Some place on Engineer pass - Ouray.

its a 7-8 year old D80 with a 5 year old Tokina 12-24 and polarizer filter. Its a PITA to use and and all my dark images show a slew of dead pixels.

Deadman's Pass - Mammoth Lakes, CA. While not that challenging, was worth the photo opp since this is an east Coast rig. Sad that the Aspen Fire burning in the Inyo limited visibility. It got so bad while we were there, that I wasn't able to run the Laurel Lakes trail, which I was looking forward to.

Josh, You guys go back down toward 285, or down Webster into Montezuma? Im curious how the back of Webster was heading back toward 285..

Pic Thread: Idaho Springs CO. Anyone looking for the BEST Chicken Wings they have ever had hit up Tommyknocker Brewery.

Webster is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Although still sketchy in a few spots. Josh and I both commented on how Webster is tighter than Black Bear too. Not the same feeling of exposure, but the chances of surviving a fall off Webster are probably 5%, where as falling off BB is 0%, so we had that going for us, which is nice.

MtnAddict descending Red Cone. 12,801 feet. Pictures do not do that hill any justice. It's STEEP and loose.

an old pic of the descent

Yea, That Red cone descent is no joke..

Glad to hear that back shelf road off of Webster heading to 285 wasnt to terrible. When I ran it the week prior to the 100's in the hills event it was literally pry the craziest thing ive done to date in my truck. Between the shelf road being WAY to narrow combined with the multiple washouts I was sweating it!!

Im kinda curious if they have done any improvements since then or if Im just a big Midwest wuss..

We actually cleared the snow off Webster just prior to you running it. I *think* we were the first ones down in vehicles this year. Quads and RZR's were doing it a week before us. It's waaay better right now than when you came down. I had to close my mirrors to get down past the snow/ice last time. Still some washouts from all the rain we've had.... but great shape overall.

The second pic is awesome bro! Great shot! Great looking rig!

You guys gotta quit posting all these mountain pics! Driving me crazy down here in this sauna!

Wish I could figure out a way to run my biz from CO...

On the way down Black Bear...

Yea, like Stan said Webster was in great shape. You could tell where they made some nice repairs on the shelf road where the ruts where.
