Carnage...

Finally getting some pictures back... Most are phone pics so they aren't great... I'm always driver so I usually only have pictures of other people or me stopped... Anyways here are a few pics which really don't do much justice to how steep, slippery and rutted out this area is...

Your pics are wheeling. I do not wish that GD tree on anyone.
The harder you play... the more you can pay.

^ ok, share your carnage pics with us...
did you get those sliders yet?

my sliders are only thing that kept me off last time.....well i went far to right and hoped I would not slam down into it.....slid slow and slider kickout kept me off of it with an inch to spare going very slow.

No sliders yet... I'm having a fabricator in Aledo Texas take some measurements for my rear bumper this weekend though.

^ man that looks really fun. Brock Jgray, i did the same crunch in high shcool at that spot with my yukon. That tree/wall is not large vehicle friendly.

yeah I have done that trail maybe 10 times....never hit it...knock on wood...but the last time was closest I ever came.

that tree needs to come down or rut needs filling as it has nothing to do with driving skill now...it is just dangerous to your vehicles.

Ain't she Purdy....

That does not look fun at all! I recently replaced my D-shaped bushing on the rack and just that was a nightmare! Are you installing it yourself?

Search, I wrote a good how to and another member contributed to pictures. Should prune a few hrs of heacaches from the job.

I replaced the big D side a few months back and didnt find it that difficult. But it didnt fix my problems.... The others were shot as well. So, knowing the amount of work it was going to take decided I might as well just install a brand new one (oem of course). It only took a little over a month to get. I had the killer write up saved and was planning to do it myself although not excited about it. So, I called my local guy for a quote. First thing he said when I told him it was on a 2000 was "oh, that is an ugly one...). I laughed. Then he told me it would only be $300. Knowing how much this job sucks.... I decided the $300 is well worth it. So, I am going to let them install it with the poly pro bushings...
