Thought I should build one since I drive one everyday.

On my 3rd set of tires... got Krawlers this time around.




Having a rock garden on your porch comes in handy

NICE how much of the AX10 is left... I wish some one made a 60 body I would have it done already .. my 40 one just doent talk to me

There is a good amount of AX10 left....

I made the back half all tube and brazed it, it mostly connects to the body for easy removal. I am with you there Kling-on, I had the 40 body on for a little while, then made it a 45....It was falling apart after a year of abuse. I got the hilux body from the better half for x-mas. Its hard plastic, at first I did not think I would like it but its grown on me and actutally like it better.

Painted it with the same paint as the Hilux...

I am on the 3rd set of tires like I said above, wore the stock Lizard out and went to Losi's like woodrows rig and wore them out (awesome tire).. Now I got the Krawlers and they are much bigger tire for a 2.2 and are a little on the hard side at first but once they break in they are good to go.

Axles are all stock and took a hell of beating... wish the real stuff was this tough.


I have a rock garden on the porch with bonsi's so it gets wheeled often, and we have some beachs here that are just like Moab.
