Heading to the garage right now top install the jump seats.

I have new door regulators that I desperately need to put it. Looks like a big mess in there so I'm gonna do that this weekend. Snowing like hell anyway so won't be driving it in the salt. Won't be a big deal if I can't get the doors back together quickly

I'm following this thread as well, don't you worry. It's going to be much cooler with the jump seats installed I think.

Decided not to attempt the jump seats today. I'll need to tap and thread a hole into the side of the tub to mount them. Also don't think I'll be able to fit a roll bar in with the wider seats. Need to figure that out first.

So I did the door regulators. Went very smoothly and the doors have zero rattle to them now. HUGE improvement! Can't wait to drive it again to see how quiet it will be.

Got one door panel back on and ran speaker wire through the doors. Also sprayed some Corrosion X into the bottom insides of the doors to prevent any potential rust from leaks on the window seals.

Very good day!

On the edge of my seat man!

What John doesn't know is I am sitting at work all day reading posts since we are dead...

That's what I was doing till we laid-off the shop foreman - now I've got to do real work and run the floor - as well as my current duties. At least I'm workin....:frown:

I know what you mean. Decemeber 1st they told us that we were being replace by a subcontractor on December 16th. Then we were told we had an option to hire on to the subcontractor... all of us moved over just to keep a job.

John, when are you going to post a picture of your rear seat...

(that is just toooo open ended....)

I went with Hltoppr's idea and picked up a Besttop Trailmax for the troopie. We are taking bets as to which shows up at my house first...

Not sure the long jump seats will fit with a cage. I don't think they will so might forego them. Definitely want a roll bar or cage of some sort.

I've been eyeing the Bestop trailmax seats. Found them for about $270 as a bench with 2 headrests. Not sure if I would get gray or black for that. Thinking black since I'd probably get the front ones re-done at an upholstery shop down the street in black at some point anyway

This is what I am putting in the troopie:

JC Whitney has them for 277 w/ "free" shipping.

That's the same one I was thinking of too. Might put the roll cage in and short jump seats for looks. My BJ40 that is coming has no back seats. IF I can get extra brackets I can use the seat in both trucks. Only really need it in the Pumpkin for trips with the kid which will be very rare

Might sell it. might not. Found a daily driver I'm thinking of grabbing. If this sells I'll buy the other. otherwise I'm keeping it!

You wanna' PM me with your desired price? I don't know if I could free up the coin or not- but I'm curious.

Luke

Put the Warn premium hubs on yesterday. Sweet. Changed the diff fluid and everything is peachy now.

Motivated to sell the pumpkin (unfortunately) as my daily driver Bimmer has essentially crapped out and I don't want/need a car payment.

On eBay now. $15K or best offer. partial trades for a driveable 40 considered. Shoot me a PM with whatever offer you have!
