Dad went to VT, I'll know Dec. 15th if I'm going...and always liked them even before I knew my pops went there (he's rather quiet about his life up till age 25). Just scored tickets to the game, gonna be damn great!
Well no Clemson game this weekend we are in focused preparations for the USC game. Meanwhile they are distracted by MTSU. Not sure if that will help us or keep them sharp guess we'll find out in a little over a week. For anyone who will be at the game we will be doing fried turkey with all the sides after the game would have been before but we got the damn noon start. So if anyone wants to come eat turkey hang out afterwards let me know.

I have a bunch of friends going to the game and I'd be there if I was at home. Go visit with the Wake tailgaters. There are a friendly bunch and will provide plenty of hospitality.
I have to agree. I grew up near blacksburg and the local fans are terrible. Very few of them can even have a football conversation. They just think they are going to win every game but cannot begin to explain why. In a small town where the is not much going on, it stands to reason that everyone there is a hokie fan and that's not a good thing in that area. They are a big reason why I pull for the U. Granted my Canes are no angels, but I just loathe the hokies. It's a nice area though and it has grown in leaps and bounds since the program took off. I remember when they didn't even have a mall. It is a good school, I guess it's just the local fan base that turned me away. on a positive note, the wheeling there is pretty good too.
man my Canes really need a win today vs UVA. been a rough season. But the games I am really looking forward to seeing are the ohio state / Michigan and the Deacs and VT

Kinda funny. there were offering season ticket packages for the deacs up here starting at around $90......doubt they last long after this season. They are playing great and that is on one the nicest stadiums. Truely a great place to watch a game. I saw the Canes play there last year and it was a great time.

I guess I can show some love too........ GO COCKS.....not that I dislike SC or anything....just not a big fan of the ole ball coach. I do like how the program seems to be on the upturn a bit though. They definately have some playmakers there.

I couldn't stand him when he coached UF. He RUTSed on
po old USC every chance he had and then rubbed it in.
He's learning some humility coaching here. He better.
He's dissed our fans for cheering close losses, the players for
lack of effort, the officials for bad calls, now finally he's having
to say "I'm a loser too". Hehe....coaching in Colatown will
bring any high and mighty SOB back to earth.
They are making progress and getting better. They just announced
200 million dollar project to "upgrade" sports. The commitment
is there, the fans care, it's just the old chicken curse is hard to bury.
Old Ball Coach has a hand full in Gamecock land.
He's pissed and determined to do what no other "legend"
has been able to do in Colatown: Win a championship.
If he can do that he will leave no doubters as to who is, to parapharse

yeah I think he got his first reality check with the Redskins...that was pitiful. I almost felt bad for him....Almost. I do hope he is able to turn it around though. Would be nice to see some of the other not so well known schools do well. Kinda like the Deacs are doing this year. I just wish I knew what my Canes needed. I am just not a big Coker fan. I wish we would have gotten Butch Davis back and not let him go to the heels. He'll bring some respect to the football program there. He is an amazing recruiter.

I was worried about the OSU D coming into this season with as many players that left via the draft and it has showed at times..last night being one of them. Michigan does have a great D when they get to utilize their front 7, which was hard to do with OSU running 5 wide all night. I just dont think they expected that at all. I am just glad there were not any terrible calls that affected that outcome. OSU just has to hope they outscore their opponents every week.

Great game though, and I was EXTREMELY happy to have been there. I ended up in the student section and all was pretty friendly. Wake took the loss well, and VT didn't rub it in. All in all, great game to have been at wish you were there.

Well didnt really watch to much football yesterday between working on chucks cruiser and falling asleep on my couch after dinner. But I did see that wake knows what we felt like a few weeks ago, and that spurriers offense still works against less talented teams, and lastly that ohio st is going to win national championship and I hope arkansas wins out so we can see the hogs play them cause no other challeneger really interests me. 6days 46minutes till kickoff can you feel it David?
