Oh my shunt! I would definitely bust out a rear glass! those are the easiest to replace IMO!

I know this is an ancient thread, but i wondered, with regards to the width of the housing, is it exactly the same as the original, and did the axle shafts locate correctly in the wider 9" centre?

It was identical to original measurements. The intention was to re-use any factory components and when ordering Longfield/RCV's the "on the shelf" for ease of replacement
