Tonight I drove my 1980 toyota corolla down to tacoma washington to get my 67 Truck. I was really struggling with what to do with the corolla.... do I call tripple A and have them tow it back to my house.... gah... ethics got me there. Do I park it at the mall for a week till I come back and get it... nope... cant do that... they will tow it and I will have a hefty impound fee. I saw a couple guys holding a sign PORTLAND. I wish I would have picked them up and dropped myself in Tacoma... giving them the car to make the rest of their journey... but I didn't... thought about it too late.

So 5 minutes before arriving I thought of another Idea... Sell the car to the truck driver for $200, give him an extra $150 cash and this would save me from driving the car back, towing or possibly getting it impounded. Well long story short, the truck came down and the car went up.

Here is my new 67 LPB.... it is very used, but solid... and I like it that way. There is something to be said about the guy that drives his original paint 67 Porshe in my part of the city.... every time I see him I actually admire him because his porsche is still driving and has the original paint... faded roof and hood and all..... guess its just character that I admire.... so for now, I will leave this truck as is (looks wise) because I think its got character....

Day 1

That is the link to some of the pictures... there will be more when the sun is out tomorrow.

Here are some more.

Day 2

Found a ton of stuff... manuals, toolkit and bag, switches, gadgets, add ons... etc.

ADD OCD whatever...

You have it to!

They say it's quite prevalent here in Western Washington... Glad I don't have it.

Not to many trucks like that any more---most have been molested several times over. Enjoy the new ride.

Check out the patina.... there isn't a clean panel on the interior.

I can clean it right?

I might be transferring to texas, but I'll keep my house in Seattle.... I hope I can bring them with me!!!

No sir, LV is first on the list. I'm going to try and get it as nice as yours. I'll just drive this one.

That's a helluva pressure washer you have perched on the bed rails. How many psi that sucker put out?

Yes, I'm pretty depressed. I have them all up for sale if you look closer at craigslist.

Mmmmmkay, that's weird. I thought my truck was somewhat unique, but this is basically a clone of mine just in a different color. I "thought" the hole high and left of the passenger headlight was something the previous owner added.....until now. So what's the hole really for?
I also noted that you have the same color seats and seatbelts. I always thought my seats had been recovered....guess not. I don't have the protrusion under the driver's seat that you have, but maybe that's a pto shifter? Oh, and the coolant overflow is EXACTLY like the one I have and it's even installed the same way. That makes me wonder if the same previous owner had both our trucks.

Hole above the headlight is a kill switch for the PTO. Love the truck.

You mean an engine kill for the PTO then? Or is your PTO electrically coupled somehow? I know there was "something" bolted to the frame horns on mine, but the hole pattern is nothing like a factory PTO. I always assumed he had a plow and the hole was for some plow control wire.
