I got the adapter in from advance adapters last week. the kit to put a np203 and cruiser transfer case together. when I put both boxes in low for every one turn of the drive shaft the input turns four. I cannot wait to get the rest of the drive train in the truck.

I plan on running 37 inch tires with a spring over for now. A new cage hydro assist steering and up graded axle shafts. The kit for the 700r should be in this week so I can get the drive train in and go from there. Here is a shot of the cruiser in it current state.

the transmission is rebuilt and mated up to the cases. Now comes the fun part of making it fit in the cruiser.

in the truck

here are some shots of the setup mounted in the frame. The engine mounts are overkill but I know how I drive. I need to work on the transmission cross member.

You going to run a Scout box? Are you swapping brake systems to hydroboost? Will you just have to run a return line to the fuel tank or anything else required? You going to use the factory headers? What motor accessories did you have to buy that wasn't included in the govliquidation auction? I notice yours' has a serpentine belt system. The M1008 I had was equipped w/ a v-belt. Keep the progress pics coming

The engine came with Vbelt setup. I found a 95 and 96 gm 2500 truck with a 6.5 at pull a part and got the serpentine belt setup and the hydro-boost setup. I have a scout box that I drilled and tapped for hydro that will turn the front. I will use the hummer headers for the exhaust. The driver side will need some mods to work though.

I just ordered a full cage, sliders, doors, tube fenders, grill protector, and stinger kit from metal tech. i need to finish cutting and turning the front axle. spring over needs final weld. i am thinking of using Detroit lockers front and rear.

the front axle is cut and turned. will weld up this week. put some stock springs on. the ones that were on the truck gave to much lift. went with lunch box lockers for now. the motor is getting an upgrade with a turbo setup.
