I may come down.

i may be there with Goebler picking up some parts for his 40.

Dam weddings always getting in the way.

If you and Eric are going to be there I sure would like to see the rock garden.

One question, any idea what size bolts for mounting a M8000? I would like to at least get it bolted in place while there without having to bring a drill.

Im not sure I will be wheeling. Besides the Garden is pretty damn tough, I have no plans to wheel it anytime soon.

Had a good day with a twist for the ride home. We did some light wheelin' while Tom finished the winch. As we were mounting the winch we discussed the whimpy alternator and sad excuse for a battery that I currently have. Having tested it on a rig in the shop I decided I'd just wait and finish the install at home and good thing. At some point while wheelin' it seem the alternator took a dump. We had to stop in Bloomington after the volt meter told us to and a very helpful guy at the Advanced Auto charged the battery for us. We got home as the sun had set just a few miles from home only getting flashed about a dozen times from oncoming traffic. Almost bought an Optima from them but Tom and another guy we were on the trail with said that they had gotten less reliable in the past few years. I may try a Napa brand that Tom has had good luck with so far. This all leads to the current decision to steal the alternator of my old GMC motor for and added gain of 38 amps over the original 40 amps of the stocker and can get a replacment for that that puts out 150 amps.

All this work 'cause I won a cable at the Jambo, your'e wearing me out John.:flipoff2:

Hit the park today instead of saturday due to sickness from far too many beers and muscle relaxers for bad back. Apperentlyu getting hammered while on pills is a bad thing... Not sure why I though of trying meds in the first place. Drugs are bad,,, Especially when booze is involved!

Lesson learned.

Grabbed my parts and Tom told me you wer there. Better timing next time on my end. Hoping to get the rest of my parts from Tom soon and put the 40 back together.

Goebs

My back just needs a vacation. That will come once kids are back in school and summer is coming to an end. I have a great group of Doc friends locally as a result of a car crash a few years ago. They know me well and treat me great.

Thanks for the referral either way!
