I was in that one but swtched to 8:45so me and my friend Connor will run together all 4 trail days!

1) Imogene to Ophir 8:15
2) By pass the wall Poughkeepsie to Corkscrew 8:45
3) Black Bear to Last Dollar 8:30
4) Clear Lake to Super Secret with @marcfj60 at 9:00

My list of what I wanted to get in this year is:
Poughkeepsie (done before, but wanna try as stock)

Last Dollar (never been, read it is a must see when in the area)

Ophir (never been on)

Imogene (Can’t remember if I’ve done it yet or not, 2015 is a bit fuzzy as it was my first time)

Also, I’m in kind of a delimma on which way to get there. In the past, we have always gone I-40 to ABQ, then north. BUT because we take a few days after to go to the front range, we take I-25 and highway back home, which is the middle route of the picture. We make take that route this year to get to HIH8. Google says it takes longer, Apple maps says its the fastest route. I’m not sure what we are going to do yet. Especially since I will be pulling the camper for the first time out there.

Yeah the other factor worth considering is that 550 may be an issue getting into silverton. This would affect our route drastically. I doubt it will get to this point but worth considering.

Fingers crossed for some rain to halt the fires and let some smoke clear.

@aaronrules Double-check the amount of mountain passes you'll encounter with the 16h 51m route. I've never traveled that route but my knowledge of the mountain ranges makes me think that's the one with the most mountain driving. The longest route will probably be the easiest pulling a trailer.

So it looks as though my wife is going to pick me up Wednesday morning in Lubbock from the airport. We are basically going to drive as far as we can that day with the kids to north of Albuquerque (possibly farther, we are just going to drive until we can't anymore). Trying to get the kids as far along as possible so that Thursday is a leisurely drive and they don't have to spend so much time in the car on that day before we start hitting trails on Friday. We are going to try and hit Farmington/Bloomington area in Norther NM. This just gives us a 55 minute drive into Durango. So we'll probably get there early, and hangout until lunch with everyone.

Sounds good. I think we are set for lunch in Durango and roll into Silverton as Reg. opens up.

Can we get a head count on people staying in Moriarty?

I will be. Sounded like @TXSunDevil will as well.

Who else?

Still need to sit down and do the planning.

Alright, crucial decision everyone. Having my KO2's installed tomorrow.

I am kind of thinking about going whites out...... talk me off the ledge.

I wish I went white out.....regretted it every day since. I'm too cheap to have them flipped and re-balanced.

My rig is a riverrock green mica. I found someone else that did whites out on this color. I think it looks so good.

No no no. Not sure why anyone puts white letters out. I see white letters out on a lot of bro jeeps. For the sake of all that's decent, just don't do it.

I think the size of the lettering on the KO2 is modest and it gives a really cool look to the vehicle.

Sure the white letters on the outside look cool, unless you actually wheel your cruiser. Then they look like hell after just a couple of trips because the white paint is getting scraped and scrubbed off by sharp rocks and dirt. And it instantly reduces your off-roading credibility with the rest of the community.

If 99% of your use is on pavement and you only go off road once a year, put the white letters out. Just be prepared for harassment and judgement.
