Ciao, i manuali non riportano la profondità della sede dell'iniettore perché si tratta di una misura di progettazione che non dovrebbe essere utile a nessuno tranne che a me, che ho acquistato una testata non originale. Ho comunque inviato un'email alla Toyota in Giappone, ma non ho ancora ricevuto risposta.
 
Can you install the injector in your original head to measure it's depth past the surface of the combustion chamber? Using a bore scope you should be able to approximate far enough. Then use thicker or thinner washers to get out close enough.

The B diesel is an indirect injected motor. As such, it really doesn't need an exact depth for the injectors. Close enough should be good enough.

I no longer have the original cylinder head; it was destroyed when I seized. Now I have two problems with the BJ: black smoke when accelerating during gear changes, then it subsides. The second problem is when, after a certain number of kilometers, I stop the next day and find a dark spot under the breather pipe. This could all be due to the injector-prechamber gap. La pompa è leggermente ritardata anche perché il blocco motore è stato abbassato di 2 decimi. In pratica, con la rondella di arresto da 3 mm l'iniettore non preme sulla rondella parafiamma, quindi ho messo una rondella da 2 mm e preme leggermente e ho dedotto che in questo modo l'iniettore è troppo vicino alla precamera e il gasolio potrebbe essere iniettato in modo errato.
