Hi all, I’m new to forum and coming from a 1999 4Runner 5-speed. I just sold it after 10 years of ownership and bought my dream car! Black LC200 (2017)

I have a long list of 3D printed parts I want to make for my LC200. First up, I removed my 3rd row seats and need a plastic cover for the seat mounts so my dog doesn’t rip her nail on the ugly hole/bracket that’s left behind:

I started with a 3D scan using my phone, then loaded it into CAD software:

From there, I built out the CAD - the curving surfaces make this design work a little more advanced.

3D prints fit great (took a few iterations to make sure the curves matched up super well). Parts were printed on an expensive SLS printer (a laser which melts layers Nylon powder) so they are super durable and look great. I added a tie down hook for some additional functionality:

If any one is interested, I was thinking of selling these soon, but first I want to make sure they fit well on these models:
- Any year LX570
- 2008-2015 Land Cruiser

Any one interested in buying a prototype set for a discount? I’ll cover shipping and if it doesn’t fit well then I’ll refund your money.

Oooh, very nice. Def something that's been needed for the community to finish off that trim. Came out great!

Which 3D scanner did you use? I've been thinking to get the new Einstar 2 now that it's wireless.

2017 LX here. I’d give them a shot depending on price.

Following. Still have my third row in (2013 LC), but might be interested in the final production product.

I'm interested for my 2013 LX

Many members are using these. I ordered a set with the tie downs last year and they are first class stuff.

I used the Polycam app on my phone. Far from perfect, but overall I was really happy with how it turned out.

Interested depending on price. I'm in an 09 LC.

Cool I can do $90/set shipped. They are made with SLS nylon so they aren’t as cheap as many of the hobby 3D printer parts. Message me if you are interested!

Oh dang.. well, very cool! Looks like he even bought the same tie down hooks from Amazon haha

I have a 2015 and interested in test fitting for you

Cool if $90 works then shoot me a message

I might be interested. To clarify, this is $90 for both sides, correct? Also, the figment is the same for an LX and LC? I have a 2018 LX570.

I’m interested in a set for my 2016 Landcruiser.

Awesome to hear, I’ve already confirmed fitment on 2016+ LCs so I’ll let you know when these are for sale on Etsy

Yep for the set. Fitment should be the same for both LC and LX.

Post up the link on here when they're ready. Im sure there will be more folks interested, including myself.

Here’s my set installed in a 2017 LX570. The texture and color is close enough for meZ the shadows in the picture show where the fit isn’t exact but also the shadow exaggerates it. I don’t think it’s worth fussing about it. Because of the harder and rougher texture, there might be witness marks left on the ABS of the Lexus when these are removed but it’s a part that would be nearly covered by the third row seats when put back in. Overall, I think it’s a good product and I’d buy it.

I’m not familiar with 3d printed materials and don’t know what to expect for durability. I would prefer something molded from ABS, simply because it’s a known to me.

Interesting, mine went into a 2018 LX and fit very flush. The material on mine also looked a good bit smoother on the underside unless that’s a trick of the lighting.

Thanks for the pics guys. Good eyes — I used two different 3D printing processes, but both are made from Nylon and made in USA. I’ll tweak the CAD a bit to see if I can get it even more flush before I release the final product.

2015 Land Cruiser - received them about 10 minutes ago, they look great and feel great, nice surface finish and feel durable. Next post will show installed photos, overall very happy with the fit and result. Bolted down tight using the stock seat-belt bolt, no creaking or cracking sounds at all when tightening, feels very firmly installed.

These openings have bugged me years. I'm very happy with the install, I'll post any followups w/regard to durability (if any issues).
