I'm leaving for the cabin by tomorrow morning from Travelers Rest (20 mins north of Greenville). I could leave later this evening if needed. Does anyone want to caravan or ride w/?

I'm a rubber duckie!!

My head hurts!

I had a great time and I don't know when I've wheeled so much. Special thank to the Atlanta Division of UC for taking care of so many details. You guys crack me up.

Unlike the previous years, the trails were very open and well maintained, STLCA did a fine job with this year's GSMTR. You UC folks who did not attend missed the BEST WEATHER and trails at this event.

FJC's ROCK!
The Trail team put on a fine exhibition with their cruisers - going up lower 2 with nothing special 'cept for a winch they used twice per vehicle (so did many of the rock-solid FJ 40s).

8 UC members participated. Small turn-out for such a large and successful club.

Many thanks to Cheryl and Ken for hosting my first "double-vision" experience of the event. But damn they were good! :D

GSMTR was fun. Thanks to Alex, Heather and Dan for giving me a ride. David from BFG donated 4 nice mud terrains for the raffle! The turnout was small both from UC and in all - only about 100 drivers registered. I have some pics I'll post up in a little. The cabin wsa very nice. The trails were in good shape. You could tell a lot of maintenance had been done in places.

These are some common things heard during the trip...
"water pump!"
"I'm a rubber duckie!"
"Lets go wheelin!"
"Juice box"

Oh - and its not a good idea to eat a whole bag of doritos.

Gsmstr

STLCA held a class event: friendly people from everywhere east of New Mexico and south of Massachusetts! Wow!
FLCA went out of their way to be gracious. Thanks, Bill W. and Joe from Florida and STLCA for the invites to ride, we had a ball.(See CC's pics of the Backside of School Bus on GSMTR 07 thread)

Thanks to Heather, Steve, Dan, Alex, Mary and Jerry for representing UC.

WOW, that was a great time!!! We got back last night LATE. We actually made really good time getting back to the ATL, but decided to detour to Conyers to visit JP at the Central TT's Mountain Biking event. JP seems like he's doing great and it was fantastic to see him!

Anyway...about GSMTR. I had a great time! It was so good to see everyone! I gotta say, CC, that "lemon ice" contributed greatly to a LATE evening on Thursday...but YUM!

I am sorry that we didn't get to say an official good bye to Ken and CC on Friday night or Saturday, but we'll just say "see you next time" now!

I have a bunch of pics to post up, so I am going to start a pic/report thread with more details. You can now see it here: https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=156402. Thanks so much to Gundy and Hard 40 for arranging the cabin and pitching in even though you weren't there!

I had a blast at GSMTR. The cabin was nice and warm, much better than my little tent at Crawford's. I was looking forward to meeting more UCers, but I had a great time in the 'Cado, hanging out with Dan, Steve, Heather, Alex, and John. Too bad I was workin' the whole time ;)

Thanks for having me... Next time I'll see if I can't find that 5th tire for the raffle.
