I'm remain too cheap and stubborn to buy an Engle or ARB fridge!

Thanks.

Well...if you can't afford an Engel, ARB, Waeco...whatever...that's one thing. The stubborn reason however can be overcome :D.

Seriously...I went back and forth for 6-months before pulling trigger on my Waeco 51. Other's here convinced me it would be flat out my favorite accessory: And they were/are 100% correct!!! Take the plunge...don't die wondering...you'll never want to take it back for a refund: Promise!!!

And...another reason to get one...if you need another reason...with the AC adapter it works great for keeping brews, sodas, etc., handy and cold for parties on the patio! Oh yeah...one more reason: At Thanksgiving and Christmas it's great, once again with the AC adapter, for grocery overflow!

I do not know if there are different qualities on fake ice but I have a bunch I have collected over the years and it's barely good enough to use in the little cooler we take to the beach on sundays, I wouldn't dream about using it on a multy-day camping trip.
If you camp or use a cooler frequently for wathever reason getting a fridge is the greatest upgrade.
Anyway, if you are not getting the fridge i wouldn't get the fake ice either, freezing water in zipbags is least expensive and just as reusable.
